At Daldorch House School we work compassionately with each of our pupils, while challenging them to achieve to the best of their ability. Our 11 acre site is in a beautiful rural setting, while being only an hour from the bustle of Glasgow city centre.

Our classrooms are designed to suit the needs of all our pupils, and each lesson is arranged according to those learning in it.

Developing communication, social and life skills is at the core of our 24-hour curriculum at Daldorch, and we enrich each pupil’s learning by capitalising on their interests and expanding their understanding of the world.

We also have a satellite school in East Kilbride, offering a year-round residential provision for families living in the South Lanarkshire local authority area, meaning your child can live and learn close to home in an area they know well.

Our curriculum is relevant, engaging and designed to develop each child’s independence as they mature, our focus on lifelong learning strengthening as they approach adult life.

With a blended approach to learning through The National Autistic Society’s MyProgress® strategy, your child will have an education at Daldorch that is entirely personalised to them.

Placements are funded by your local authority.

“The school has excellent systems for identifying the strengths of young people and the difficulties they face.”
